Our Wombat Wheel Chocks come in all different sizes. This monster 250T wheel chock is specifically for extra-large mining machines! This wheel chock will keep machines up to 250 tonnes stationary. It can be used for tyres that are 1-3 meters high. Wheel chocks are essential in keeping both man and machine safe on mine sites. Wheel chocks are a compulsory backup means of immobilising equipment both when parking up during maintenance or break downs. The height of the wheel chock should be 25% of the height of your wheel and fit snugly against your tyre. For example, a wheel 600mm high, would require a wheel chock of 150mm. When parking on a gradient it is recommended that at least two wheel chocks are used. Most mine sites in Australia require all vehicles to use wheel chocks at all times. We recommend using the 5T wheel chock for light vehicles only. The 30T up to 60T are recommended for heavy vehicles.
