Owen Barfield was a member of the group of celebrated writers known as the Inklings. His influence as a philosopher of the evolution of human consciousness is growing, and his work is becoming increasingly more relevant.His friends, C.S. Lewis and J.R.R Tolkien, both thought that he had the most penetrating ideas about how human consciousness shifts over periods of history, moving towards a condition of self-awareness and complete self-consciousness.In this session, we were privileged to meet and hear his grandson, Owen A.
